Download the relevant presentation by clickling the link from each organisation name above.
A companion document was also produced whch contains additional information about progress of reforms.
The VTA continues to work with the ATO in the development of tailored information for the Victorian taxi industry on the tax treatment of both the transition assistance and fairness fund payments. As soon as these factsheets are available, we will upload them to the website and circulate broadly.
The VTA recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Victorian taxi industry by bestowing upon them ‘VTA Cufflinks’. The VTA Executive Council also took the opportunity at the event to bestow VTA cufflinks on Andrew Gilmartin. After commecning in the industry in 1972, Andrew worked his way from driver, to radio room manager and into senior manager of fleet and network operations. Andrew has done it all and continues to bring all his experience to bear during this time of unprecedented change in the industry.
Finally, we once again, we offer our thanks to the industry suppliers who sponsored the event for their ongoing support for the industry.
