Cabit yesterday launched the search for ‘Melbourne’s Best Cabbie’.
Lord Mayor Robert Doyle joined Cabit’s Harry Katsiabanis to announce the competition in Federal Square.
All Melbourne taxis are encouraged to participate by placing a QR code sticker which directs passengers to a dedicated website where they can enter the licence number, driver accreditation number and their details for the chance to win $1000 cash. Stickers can be obtained by contacting Cabit directly.
The winning driver will also win a $1000 cash when the promotion ends early in 2016.
The launch was covered by the Herald Sun as well as on 3AW and Ten Melbourne news.
