The VTA Driver Companion has been redeveloped to help new  taxi drivers understand how the industry is structured, and give an overview of the rules and regulations that apply.

This resource is by no means an exhaustive manual to the taxi industry but rather a reference intended to help drivers fulfil their role and duties. Drivers are encouraged you to build their own understanding of the industry and the regulatory obligations.

The VTA will distribute this publication through the Networks or drivers can drop by the VTA office, Suite 2, 85 Salmon St, Port Melbourne to pick up a copy.
