On Monday 23 February, 13 CABS hosted a game of 20/20 cricket with a team of Melbourne cabbies facing the 'all stars' to raise funds for the Monash Children's Hospital.

The day stared with the weather closing in on the ground in Glen Waverley but nothing was going to deter 13CABS staff from setting up the first ever 13CABS Drivers vs All Stars T20 match.

The players were ready, the band was playing and the coin was tossed. The 13CABS Drivers won the toss and elected to bat. By the end of the day, the All Stars had chased down the 137 runs set by the 13CABS Drivers with plenty of wickets in hand and 7 overs to spare.

It was fantastic to see the passion of all those who took part.  The Victorian Taxi Association were proud to have sponsored such a fantastic event not only raising funds for an important organisation but honouring Melbourne taxi drivers and those who have been killed or injured on the job.
