On Monday 23 February 2015 a team of Taxi Drivers will take on an All Star team in a T20 match for the 13CABS Taxi Driver Memorial Cup. The event will honour all Taxi Drivers who have lost their lives on the job.

In addition to honouring Taxi Drivers, the Taxi Driver Memorial Cup will raise funds for the Monash Children's Hospital.

'We are pleased to have the opportunity to raise money for the Monash Children's Hospital,' said 13CABS Chief Operating Officer Stuart Overell.

'The event is dedicated to celebrating the lives of those we've lost by helping young lives receive the best medical care available.'

'We are delighted that 13CABS has chosen to raise funds for our new Monash Children's Hospital at this special cricket match,' said Monash Health Foundation Director Debbie Shiell.

The first 13CABS Memorial Cup held in 2006 honoured Rajneesh Joga, a Cab Driver who died tragically while on the job.

$20,000 was raised for Rajneesh's family and hand delivered by a 13CABS representative to the family in India.

All funds raised in 2015 will go to the Monash Children's Hospital.

All 13CABS staff participating in the Taxi Driver Memorial Cup will be donating their time. 13CABS will be donating $50 for every four hit, $100 for every six hit and $100 for every wicket taken on the day.

The match will be held at Essex Heights Reserve (corner of Huntingdale Road and Essex Road, Mount Waverley) and commences at 3.30pm.
