The work taxi drivers do often goes unnoticed but the VTA want to make sure our cabbies feel appreciated.  Yesterday the VTA hosted another lunch for taxi drivers at our office in Port Melbourne. Happy Camper pizza supplied the tasty pizzas - we look forward to trying more of their selection soon!

Apart from letting cabbies know we care, these events are a great opportunity for us to stay up to date on what is happening on the roads. There were many good discussions about current issues and how things look coming into the busy season.

We also welcomed representatives of the major networks who were keen to be involved.

The VTA understand that drivers are busy and often their work can be relentless. We wanted to say thanks to metro drivers for the great work you do.
