Membership
VTA membership is open to Booking Service Providers (networks) and Permit Holders who are operating a taxi/s (operators) in non metropolitan areas in Victoria.

The VTA works to advance the interests of the non-metropolitan Victorian taxi industry and supports its valued members.

- Representation
The VTA provides a strong and united voice, lobbying on behalf of members to all levels of government including local, state and federal. The VTA represents members in its dealings with the media, Victoria Police, external stakeholders and the general public. VTA membership also communicates with the national industry body, the Australian Taxi Industry Association (ATIA).
- Access to information
A key focus is to ensure we keep members up-to-date with the latest news and information affecting the taxi industry by producing monthly industry newsletters, member bulletins, region meetings and industry events.
- Advocacy
The VTA promotes the interests of the taxi industry by providing proactive leadership on important issues, whilst striving to build a positive community profile for the industry.
- Events
Members have the opportunity to actively participate in VTA meetings and forums to discuss issues and devise strategies for improving services and advocacy strategies. Members are also invited to the Annual General Meeting.
