Operator Groups

The VTA regularly meets with operators to discuss issues affecting them and the industry as a whole.

Major issues this year included:

• Driver Protection Screens
• Safe Taxi Audit
• Release of additional taxi licences
• Restructuring of the VTA
• Introduction of new cameras for taxis

With the help of operators the VTA has been able to consolidate industry viewpoints to present to government and promote agreeable outcomes.

The VTA acknowledges and is very grateful to the operators for the time put in to the Operators Consultative Committee.
