Driver Groups

The VTA regularly meets with Drivers to discuss issues affecting them and the industry as a whole.

Major issues this year included:

• Driver Protection Screens
• Bailment Agreements
• Release of additional taxi licences
• Taxi Driver Resources
• Issues at Melbourne Airport

With the help of Drivers the VTA has been able to consolidate industry viewpoints to present to government and promote agreeable outcomes.

The VTA acknowledges and is very grateful to the Drivers for the time put in to the Drivers Committee.
