Become a driver
The Victorian taxi industry is constantly on the search for people with a focus on customer service and great communication skills to become taxi drivers.
The VTA Driver Companion has been redeveloped to help new drivers understand how the industry is structured and offer an overview of rules and regulations that apply to taxi drivers.
The publication is intended as a reference to help you fulfill your role and duties as a taxi driver. We encourage you to build your understanding of the industry and your regulatory obligations by engaging with others within the industry, keeping updated through the VTA and TSC communication channels and getting involved.
Talk to your Network to get a copy or drop by the VTA office next time you are in the area - Suite 2, 85 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne 3207.
